PCOS? pregnant?

Hi.

So I don't know whether I am pregnant or not and its really starting to frustrate me now.
I came off the pill about 8 weeks a go now. I had a withdrawal bleed and then since I have had nothing.

I have done several pregnancy tests.
The problem is that I have had positive and negatives!
Still no sign of period.

The doctor sent me for an internal ultrasound. I had this done on Weds. They said they couldnt see any sign of pregnancy yet but might not show till after 5 weeks so might be too early.

Then they said i had a number of follicles on my ovary and said looks like i may have PCOS.

Now im wondering would PCOS give false positive or false negative results?
I am confused dont have a clue whats going on.

Im not sure if the best place for you to post would be the TTC section. This is the Long Term section, so ladies who have been trying several years.

I just think you might get more replies on TTC.
