Ive been thinking about either getting on clomid or some other shot/pill that will help me become preggo. I have PCOS ....thats probably why my period isnt here (last period dec 9 07) i should probably test though to make sure. My doc said i can get pregnant on my own without any pills ect.... But he also said that if i want to become pregnant that he will give me a shot to help move things along..If i get a BFN then im going to schedule an appoinment to get started on somthing to help me get a little angel!:happydance: Is there anyone with PCOS thats got preggo without any shots/pills...ect....? I did get preggo november 06 but it was an ectopic pregnancy :( so at least i can say ive been preggo :)

Sorry, hun. I have PCOS and I am currently on pills. (Metformin) Never been pregnant.

If your periods are not normal cycles, then Clomid or Metformin might be able to help you! Good luck! :hugs: Keep us updated.

I just found out today I have PCOS. I have been TTC for over two years.
(not to scare you!) DH also has a low sperm count.

I have just been put on Metformin and Clomid to help us.
I'll let you know this time next month how it's going!

Hey hun thought Id post this to give you some hope.
In Winter 2006 I was diagnosed with havin PCOS! I wasnt trying for a baby at the time as I was single. But In Aug 2007 I met my bf and in Oct i became pregnant, I hadn't been so careful with the pill as the doc said to come back to him when i wanted to concieve i presume to give me some medication to help the process. I didnt realise I would get pregnant that easily.
Now Im nearly 12 weeks pregnant and very very happy.
The advice I can give to you girls with PCOS is to eat a very healthy diet(lots fruit and veg) do plenty of excercise, cut down on alcohol and stop smoking if you do.
Loosin weight if you need to can have positive effects on your fertility, I know its hard with PCOS.
But never give up hope is the main thing.
I hope this helps
xxxxxxxxxx

I have PCOS, but wasn't ovulating at ALL on my own so I had to take clomid to get my BFP. Good luck! :dust:

Hi there,
Just found out I have PCOS. I did become pregnant in Oct but m/c'd in November...no meds. I do ovulate on my own (well, not this month, apparently :) ), but it's late and not so strong so I'll probably be going on meds soon to strengthen that. GL!

I've PCOS
on metformin, and will be seeing consultant soon to discuss Clomid.
Had my b/test result back, and had a reading of 2 ovulation shou be around 20.

Hi Sammie

I've got PCOS. Was diagnosed 3 years ago. Have been with my OH 4 years. Had around 4 periods in 3 years!!
Last summer we split up for a while and i got very down and lost an awful lot of weight. Not good looking back but it seemed to do the trick.
We got back together in August and in October i fell preggy. :D
Completely naturally.
I think that such a shock to my system caused by body to have a kick start.

So it can happen :) I never ever thought we would conceive naturally after 4 years of 'doing it' with no protection but it did and i couldn't be happier.

Keep strong, happy and eat healthily and exercise and you never know :D

Good luck hun xx
