I just phoned our clinic and apparently they have decided that refurbishment has to happen NOW and everyone from the waiting list May/June time (which was us) will have to wait till September. I've spent the last half hour in tears; i know it's not a huge wait but we've been waiting for nearly a year already adn I'm sad I wanted to start trying in the summer; I was excited. I've come off both my medications and gotten through some pretty sh**ty stuff for this to happen. Apparently they will be in touch from September - so we probably won't start till October; ah well my dream of having a summer baby might come true then.

I have a summer birthday too; so do our 2 foster sons; 3 of our nephews and 2 of my sisters.... hehe.
We won't conceive naturally; we're both women so no sperm!!! hehe..

Sorry to hear this Vicki, I can't imagine how you are feeling. Can they not transfer you to another clinic? Seems very unfair to you x

nope Dundee is our nearest and is also where we were referred to in the first place..... so i'm thinking probably not. We are going to email them tonight; as we are not happy about this..... surely we should have known about it ages ago? I was in contact with them a month ago and apparently the decision to refurbish has come within that time.

Yes I would definatley contact them, maybe see if you can arrange another appointment to speak with the face to face? It's so unfair they shouldn't be allowed to do this at such short notice to yourself and other women, especially if they have known for a while. Hope everything works out for you x
