I had that all with my first, none of the names I had chosen he got, he was named after his deceased granddad instead and my mum was the worst for tearing names up. Second time around no one was told and this time no one will know either till we name our baby and then they can go whistle. Someone did make a comment on a name someone else said I liked that was on my list, piss take. Seem to think every single name will be bullied.
