People who had bfp after ivf ) how long did you wait for viability scan

Yeah, pretty much. They wait until you're 7 weeks so that they're sure to see the heartbeat and the measurements are easier and there's less guesswork as to whether baby is measuring on-track or too small.

I've been scanned at 6+2 and 6+4, but I was also bleeding heavily and passing pea-sized clots both of those times and we all suspected I was miscarrying. One was a vanishing twin, the other was an SCH. It didn't make me feel any better, seeing them that early, but that's probably because I had on-going bleeding.

I live in Denmark and they didn't want to scan until I was about 8 weeks (got pregnant after my 2nd IVF in January 2016). I think it's first around week 7-8 that the baby should have a heartbeat so they wait until then. It's definitely worth the wait to see/hear the heartbeat:cloud9:
