Perfume taste in mouth??

Any thoughts on this??......

I know alot of people have matallic tastes in their mouths in early pregnancy but im not quite sure how something would tase matallic? I do however have what i think tastes quite sharp and perfume like? Im 10dpo, has anyone else experienced this and gone on to have a ???

I've had a horrible taste in my mouth the last couple of days, which tastes when I get perfume or lotion in my mouth!
My husband also said I've had bad breath (even though I brush my teeth twice a day) I'm hoping its a good sign for me to...and I hope the bad breath goes

Oh no, my hubby has congestion just now so if i do have badbreath he wouldnt be able to smell it . I too brush twice a day and i havent changed my eating habbits either, so couldnt link it with something i ate? Its just a very sharp bitter perfume like taste.... very strange.
Anyway, thank you for sharing your views too... i hope this is a good sign for the both of us x x x

I suppose at least he was honest!

Really hope its good. It sounds exactly like what I taste. I've been drinking lots of water as dehydration can give you bad breath and a funny taste but its not helping.

I think i would like my hubby to be honest too and tell me... infact i asked him right after i read your post.. ha ha. But he is all blocked up so couldnt tell me. I drink a lot through the day, always carry a bottle of water about with me. How many days past o are you?? Have you gotten any other weird symptoms??? x x x

I have the weird taste in my mouth too and I am 6DPO.

I have had a bad taste here there in my mouth too but I keep comparing it to onions and I constantly feel like I may have onion breath even though I haven't eaten onions in forever.

On my first child, I had such a bad taste I had to eat sour skittles all day to get rid of it :-/ good luck all of you! Sounds promising!

i picked up the taste today. after i had dinner i had to get something sweet to take teh taste out of my mouth and now it is back./ not really perfume or metal just ick.. im 12dpiui. trying to hold out on retesting for a few days

I'm 12dpo. I tested with an IC and I think there is a very faint line but I'm not sure. My dh can just about see it but I want to get a FRER to check as its more sensitive.

The funny taste is still there but my dh said my breath isn't bad anymore...

Congratulations so the funny taste was your first symptom. I was sick last night and an hour ago. I sometimes get sick before af arrives but only at night. Hmmmm
