Period every two weeks?!?!?!

Hiya all,

So i had a full term pregnancy.. but my baby was not ment to be in this world as he was a still born at 38 weeks This was all in april.. and i didnt get my period back till september.. Now every two weeks im having my period and its eexxttrreemmllyy heavy... Has this happened to anyone else??... Im not sure it to go to the doctor or what to do.. when i went to him in september he said oh ur body just needs to regulate but its december and its the same thing.... its such a downer as i want to ttc like now!! and everytime i think im ovulating my period starts! argh! ...

just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else aswell? .. and also how long did it take for everyone to regulate again.. i know everyone is different but u know.. just wanna torture myself

Oh hun, I am so very sorry for your loss! Words can't describe, my heart goes out to you.

I have no personal experience with my period coming so often, but my first one after my loss was very heavy. I would say, this many months out, go back to your doctor and ask for some testing. If he won't do it, maybe get a second opinion. At least, that is how I would approach it. There has to be a reason why this is happening, and at this point, I wouldn't settle for the usual "body getting back to normal" line. Sometimes doctors need a nudge.

Im so sorry for your loss.

I had a m/c at 8 weeks in June and then after that I had about 2 week cycles with no ovulation. I had 3 of them and then went to the dr. She prescribed me Clomid but before I started the Clomid I finally had a regular cycle. I did still start the Clomid though because my cycles are 45+ days. I would say go to the dr hun.

You should definetly go to your Doctor and if they don't seem concerned see a specialist, it maybe a progestrone issue. I wish you the best and I am very sorry for your loss.
