Period type cramps

Last night I had around 15 minutes on and off of period type cramps, i've had nothing today but they have started again this evening. My lady bits also seem to be a bit swollen and feel heavy. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not particually big so i'm not sure if i'm having a growth spurt. The baby is very active as usual but it just seems a bit strange having period cramps.

Sorry I ment to post this in the 3rd tri.

When I had period type pains (before I got to this stage - think it's now LO moving round and everything getting ready for labour) it was because I had a bad stomach, got a bit scared for a while as they were quite crampy.

Probably not much help but didn't want to read and run
