Just wondered if anyone else wanted to share photos from their c-section? I have attached some of mine in case anyone was curious :)

I had an emergency CS at 39+3 due to failure to progress, maternal fever and fetal distress. My son was born a healthy 8lb9 with perfect apgars :)

Aww ~ Lovely photos, thankyou for sharing :flower:

You were lucky to be allowed to take so many of the actual birth

Awww I never thought that was even an option - maybe not here in UK. I wish we could have.

I was very lucky - the ONE man in the operating theatre was a nurse who was specifically there to take photos with our camera, believe it or not! Every other single person was female, all the doctors and nurses!

I asked about photos when I had mine last week (I'm in the uk). They told me that most the surgeons don't mind, but to ask beforehand. I didn't want any of the actual surgery, just when he was born, but wish I had now. Amazing photos xx

I was told NO PHOTOS of the operation or birth, only the baby! :dohh: That was with DD (born in the Uk)

I have an anethestic clinic app next week, will askk what the policy is here, in Australia?

Someone asked me that, and I said "because when else will you be able to get a photo showing the inside of your abdomen as a memento?" :haha:

I used to break the photos out for visitors over the first few weeks until I realised that other people didn't have quite the same appreciation of my guts as I did...

I.feel.sad I didn't get any of mine, not her being born or anything ill definitely be asking if i have another section
