Pineapple???

So I've read to avoid pineapple while BFing. I guess cause it's acidic and can give baby diaper rash. I've been hungry for pineapple and I bought a few cans last night and I wanna eat it!! anyone actually have problems with pineapple?

im sure a little bit wont hurt. i think its because it causes wind rather than nappy rash but i migh be wrong. try a little bit and see how u get on.

The main rule I was told was, what it does to you, it does to them.

All fruit is acidic to an extent, but I'd say there is lots of other good stuff in it so it's a good thing to eat. Plus, do you really want them only to take "bland"?

Better a pineapple than a mars bar surely?

yeah I think I'm going to eat some pineapple tonight. I can't imagine diaper rash would develop from one poop that was acidic??
