Dear all,

I am on my second month ttc, and charted my bbt for a year prior. I was pretty much like clockwork; positive opk, two days later a temp dip then day after a steep rise so I knew I was ovulating two days following a +opk. In the two months of actually trying to ttc, they've not been so clear (typical!) and I wondered if any experienced charters could help me decide which day I ovulated on this month? My cycle lengths are approx 31 days with a pretty reliable 14 day luteal phase.

CD 15: 36.1 +opk
CD 16: 36.1
CD 17: 36.0
CD 18: 36.0
CD 19: 36.2
CD 20: 36.4
CD 21: 36.5
CD 22: 36.7
CD 23: 36.6
CD 24: 36.2
CD 25: 36.6
CD 26: 36.6
CD 27: 36.5
CD 28: 36.6
CD 29: 36.4/5
CD 30: 36.5

Classically I would ovulate on day 17 - two days after +opk and the next day would show a steep temp rise. This hasn't happened this time!

I then thought I ovulated on day 18 as temp rose day 19, but it only rose above the coverline on day 20, so now not sure if I ovulated on day 19 and just didn't have a dip?

I'd appreciate any help, either way I doubt I'm having a strict 31 day cycle. I have had a negative HPT today, but I've been utterly convinced I am pregnant due to a multitude of symptoms, including (the biggest clue to me) sore and super sensitive nipples, and what look like a nice implantation dip which featured a lot of cramping. Ideally I'm 11dop not 12po but also trying to understand better for next month in case it's another wobbly one!

Many thanks xx

What did your temps look like prior to cd15? Do you chart? Fertility friend is really good at giving you a visual as to what your temps are doing and they pinpoint O based on these temps. The lower temps on cd 17 and 18 are kinda throwing me, but I do see a higher shift in temps after these days.

Hi LadyGriz11, thanks for taking the time to reply - I like your profile pic!
I only go back to day 12 this month:
CD 12: 36.0
CD 13: 36.0
CD 14: 36.2

Sorry, I should have put those in the first post as the 36.2 on day 14 is my coverline really.

I tried the trial of fertility friend, which definitely helped visually, but it's those few low temps that are throwing me.

Many thanks x

Thank you, DH's such a ham lol! When you used FF did you get your crosshairs? Based on your temps & opk it looks to me like you O'd between cd 16 and 19. Sometimes temps can be so confusing when they're not doing what you're used to! Best of luck to you hun!!

Yes I did, it thought day 18, but think it based it on the +opk. There's such conflicting advice about how much the temperature needs to rise to pinpoint ovulation that it gets very confusing!

Thanks for your help - if not successful this month, I'm going to try and go at it throughout next month so as not to worry, haha!

Best of luck to you too!
