pixie????

It's pretty, but I will only work if she turns out to be a dainty tiny girl! If she is tall/ curvy it won't suit her at all. Maybe it could just be a nice nickname?

That's what I was thinking too!

I like Pixie,

but I was going to call my dog Pixie. The doctor off embarrassing bodies is called Pixie and i think it suits her even as an adult.

I really love Paisley as well though, I think that's a lovely name and if she didn't like it when she was old she could shorten it to something like Paige maybe.

xx

me and my OH have already chosen pixie for our little peanut if it's a girl ^__^

Pixie is cute. My friend back home, her dog's name is called Pixie.

anybody like this for a girl..my 16 yr old son loves it im not sure although it is kinda nice..and were pagan so it kinda fits in with us
xxx

I love pixie my brothers god daughter is named Pixie-May goes well together

Pixie Lott & Pixie Geldoff <-----i LOVE :)

I really like the name Pixie.....its cute! If I have a daughter she will be called Pixie an if I have a boy he will be called Hyde....I like unusual names haha!

Good luck hun xx

There seems to be quite a few Pixies at the moment, I suspect that 2010 will be the peak Pixie year!

I think it's super cute!! Like it a lot! But a bit childish? What about when she's grown up? Maybe with a middle name she could switch to as an adult if she felt like it?

Pixie is cute but reminds me of the candy Pixie Stix or a fairy...

...

It's cute for a child but as an adult? Reminds me of a stripper or Porn Star's name...not that she'll become this but that's just my first impression...

I'm all about unusual names but try to think of long term.

If she becomes a lawyer, how many people are going to want to hire Pixie? Honestly, I wouldn't because I would automatically assume she is flighty and unable to keep her concentration. I'd rather hire Gretchen (just an example) because at least her name sounds like she means business.

Just saying.

Either way chose what makes you happy but try to think about her 25 years from now when she's trying to make something of her life!

I agree with this too.
You could use it as a middle name then if she turns out to suit the name physically then you could use it :) xxxx

I love it, and as someone pointed out the doctor on the tv is Pixie and everyone takes her seriously as an adult!!

Names, even ones that seem child like usually grow with the child, I find anyway.

well ladies thanks so much for the comments..and yessss were having a ...........
GIRL!
so it is pixie at the moment and more than likely to stick as i call it her now....just stuck on a middle name now :(...
i kinda liked pixie leigh!
