Pizza Hut Hot Cookie Dough Desert

I am going to Pizza Hut for tea today and am really craving their hot cookie dough desert. Anyone know how this is cooked? IE is the egg fully cooked and safe to eat? I wasnt sure if they use an already made cookie and melt it down or if they just serve you half raw cookie dough.

Anyone know? Thanks

Edit: Just seen on their website that it contains whole egg powder, rather than egg. Don't know if that makes a difference?

OMG I love them and have had a few this pregnancy. I was unsure with it being not fully cooked but had it anyway :/ I really want to try the new raspberry and white choc one, yum.

I think they are fine, i think they are cooked cookies which are then melted. Plus they come piping hot dont they? So any egg would be cooked. x x

Dunno if you can tell by this picture what I mean, but they put cookie dough in a small dish and put it in a really hot oven. It crisps the top and keeps the underside gooey but it's fully cooked, we love them here's a pic to drool at!

They heat up a pre-made cookie and then put ice cream on it, it's gorgeous! Enjoy!
