So i went to the Doctor 2 days ago, due to brown bleeding and cramping going on for 2 weeks straight. They did and ultrasound and the baby was fine with a great heart beat in the 180's, but my Doc told me that I have Placenta Previa.

Anyone else have this early on and there placenta move? Im just nervous now that its not going to move and then i will have to have a c-section.

hey hun its not happened to me personally, but i have a friend and she had it very early on too (around 14 weeks i think), still like that at 20 weeks but she had a scan at 34 weeks and it was normal ! so yes it can happen.

Hiya, my friend had it - she's 35 weeks now and it wasn't until her scan last Monday at 34 weeks that it had moved.

According to my Pregnancy Bible only 1% don't move...so don't panic hunni

Hey. It's really common for the placenta to be low-lying right now. It should move up as the pregnancy progesses and and uterus expands. At least thats what my OB doc told me after I had one at 16 weeks that bled due to a contraction that pinched it. Low and behold by 30 weeks when I gave birth it had moved up. I wouldn't worry about it too much yet. It's still early. It should move.

Hello hun. Congratulations on a healthy baby at your scan.

My friend had a little girl in April, and she was told she had placenta previa at her 12 weeks scan. It had moved slightly at her 20 week scan, and she was scanned again at 34 weeks and it had moved. As you uterus grows and stretches, the placenta moves up with it. This happens in most cases, as someone above said, 99 per cent of the time. So just relax and enjoy your pregnancy!
