Hi, i wonder if anybody can put my mind at rest? I had a bfp fri and sat morning, very nervous as i had 2 losses 2010. My first was 14 weeks in july and the second was 6 weeks xmas eve 2010. I'm concerned as i am now having quite sharp pains in the crook of my groin on my left hand side and my leg feels a little numb also. I'm worried as i have had these pains before, i had them with my m/c's but cannot remember if i had them with my first, who is a happy and healthy 2.5yr old! I kinda haven't come round to the fact i am pregnant again as i am so scared! Has anybody else felt these kinds of pains before? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you x x

Hiya I had leg pain with both my chemicals but then I had it nov too with no bfp x my doc diagnosed sciatica but i found something call pgp pelvic girdle pain an I believe this is what it is x says it can be common in early pregnancy x the pain in groin could be stretching pains but if you're worried maybe you should call epu x got everything crossed for you xxxl

Thankyou for your reply, i have had this also with no bfp's, but i do have pcos too. I had ovarian drilling to conceive my first. I'm quite early on considering my dates, poss only 4 weeks so hoping poss just stretching!

Just googled the pelvic pain and it sounds more like spd, but it's a bit too early for that i suppose? I don't know!! Just have to wait and see, need to make an appt for the docs. Do you know if i'd be able to get an early scan considering my history? X x

I'm getting an early scan on 20th could have got earlier but wanted to wait till I knew Id def see something so there is no room for doubt x I'd say you should be able to get a reassurance scan just contact your local epu obviously it's too early just now but even if you could book it then like me you'd have something to hang on to xxx (ovarian drilling sounds scary) x

The thing that concerns me the most is the leg numbness, which could possibly indicate ectopic. I would try to get in to see your doc to check things out and make sure baby is okay. Let them know the symptoms and your concerns to see if you can set up an early scan.

Haha! It wasn't that bad, i had an investigative lap as i was having probs, while i was under i had the dye through my tubes and they put holes in the cysts so i could ovulate, i think that's what they do anyway! 4 months later i got my bfp with my lo. That was nearly 4 yrs ago now.
Hopefully i can get in with my docs next week and get him to refer me, i was under specialists last time.
Hope your scan goes well for you. I bet you're counting down the days!!

Thankyou, i think i'm going to try and get in this week, pain has subsided a little. Obviously it's still a concern, but, wrong time of year to be having problems isn't it!! Sods law! X x
