Please help - I have no idea what's going on! Tinged EWCM at 6dpo?

Hey, I just wondered if anyone could help me out with regards to what could possibly be going on with me. I was due to ovulate last Saturday/Sunday and I believe I did due to cramps and EWCM.. However yesterday EWCM returned and I had a fair amount through out the day, so I did an ovulation test to my surprise it came back negative! This morning I still had a lot of EWCM, this time with a pinky/brown tint to it.. If I did ovulate on Saturday I'd be 6dpo today, does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Thanks in advance for any replies x
