I just feel so guilty.

My husband and I are the only one's that can give my mother-in-law and my mother grandkids. I am the only child, and my husband's brother is not able to have kids.

I am just feeling the pressure from my mother-in-law to have grandkids, and right now we are just settling in to a new place, and just getting used to being a married couple.

We are hopeing to try to conceive next July...but I have irregular periods, so it could take while.

We were trying for about six months, but have decided that I go back on the pill, to try and help regulate my cycles....anyone have any suggestions on how to regulate them when I get off the pill?

Right now, I am taking prenatal vitamins...

Sorry I just had to vent...thanks everyone for the help :)

There are a lot of natural supplements that help with regulating your period. The one that I seem to hear the most about is called Maca. But, you cannot take it with BCP it regulates you so much that it could make you start ovulating again (because it's helping your body do what it's suppose to do, be fertile). A lot of people who are having fertility issues due to their cycles being out of whack and other problems take it. It is also very helpful for male fertility.

I should also add - Raspberry leaf and wild yam. But I've heard most about Maca.

Hi, sorry to jump in on the conversation here :)

I like the idea of this Maca,
Is it prescription or something?

No, it's a supplement you can get at a lot of natural stores. I like the https://www.wholeworldbotanicals.com/ brand the best. :)

i dont know about irregular periods, but i just wanted to say that putting presure on yourself and feeling guilty about not being pregnant already doesnt help. try and relax and remember that stress can effect how long it takes to concieve aswell. its difficult but try to be patient : )

Very true its swings and roundabouts

My OH is an only child and his parents are in their 60's so I put pressure on myself about having a grandchild for them! They don't put the pressure on but they do mention their grandchild!

Regarding the irregular periods stress will make these worse so you need to release some of the pressure off yourself, easier said then done

If you don't ov very often, the Drs can give you something to help this! It's called Clomid, and has a very high success rate! There are other steps before this though, so I wouldn't worry too much!

The best way to aid conception though is to be healthy, and be an average weight. Also sex every 2-3 days and it keeps the swimmers new, and when you ov there'll be plenty of them around just waiting to greet your egg!
