Please help.. Very lost and nervous about IVF

Hello,
I am 35 yrs old and started the IVF process late July-August. I was put on Lupro 5 mg, then Gonal 225 and the Luveris. At the luveris my follies stop growing. My cycle was canceled. I am so lost with all of this. This was initially a male issue and now the doctor says she must doo a AMH to see whats going on with me. I have done so many U/S, nothing obstructing.
Estrogen was rising bu stopped. Please help me.
We will try as soon as my menses visits me.

Hi Jaden,

So sorry to hear you're feeling low honey.

IVF is hard, it really is.

The emotional aspects are part of it, and of course it's made worse by all the hormones that you're having to deal with. A few of my buddies on the IVF thread have had a cancelled cycle and I think it must be incredibly difficult, because you invest so much in it emotionally.

Anyway, I'm not sure what the cause of slowing follies is, but I'm sure there are treatments for that problem. It's awful that your cycle got cancelled, but hopefully they will be able to put you on a new protocol for the next one, which will be better for you.

I'm so sorry to hear that Jaden. At the fertility clinic I had ICSI, there have also been canceled cycles due to poor growth of follicles. Don't blame yourself or feel guilty about it. Each person responds differently to various types of medicines and at different amounts. All of my 3 ICSI cycles were different amounts, even though I did well with Gonal F.

Thank you so much, I need all the help I can get because I seem to know recovering too quickly.They have told me everything from my age (35), its a trial and error stage, to too many things.

I'm 36 and had my amh measured b4 we started ivf and I feel into the low ovarian reserve bracket they put me on the top dose of gonal f 450 this was reduced after a few days and we got 11 eggs. Maybe you just need to start on a higher dose remember every month and cycle is different fingers crossed for your next round x
