Hi ladies so Thursday afternoon my baby was sick 6 times in 8 hours. Then it stopped. She is cutting a back molar and seems very uncomfortable. I did think it was a bug. But then for the last 30 hours she has been herself again apart from this tooth hurting. Its 3am and she has been unsettled and just vomited all over our bedding and was sobbing. She is chewing on her gum alot and the tooths half through.

Has anyone had a vomiting baby with teething or can a bug return? Thanks in advance

I'd take her to the doctor just to be on the safe side. X X X X I hope she gets better soon.

When teething they produce a lot of saliva. Tiny babies just dribble it but as they get older they manage to swallow it which can make their tummy upset and often causes them to vomit. Keep and eye out, if she gets a fever or isn't well in a few days I'd pip along to gp and have her checked over xxx

My LO managed to have bugs that would drag on for over a week sometimes. I'd think she was over it, then suddenly (like you said) over a day later there would be another lot of vomiting. Unless she is getting dehydrated, has a high temp, or gets listless/unresponsive it really doesn't need treatment (and it almost doesn't matter if it is teething or a bug because the doc can't do anything for either really). Just keep an eye on her fluid intake. I have my LO sleep on multiple layers of towels when she has a bug. Means when she voms we just whip of a towel (or two) and put it in the wash without having to worry about it soaking in to the mattress etc.

It sounds like it's just the bug lingering. How is she now?
