So I just started experiencing these funny little feelings down there.... if you know what I mean...... sometimes it feels like shooting pains, and sometimes its like a twinge... has anyone ever had is before? What is it and is it bad?

Totally normal. It's the ligaments stretching and uterus expanding.

Just take it easy and it will pass but probably you wilk feel this on and off.
