Please help!!

Im not totally sure if this is the right place to write this but here goes.


My brother is getting married in Gibraltar in 7 weeks, i have booked the flights but did this before i found out i was pregnant. I am going to be 30 weeks when we go.
Well heres my problem ***I HATE FLYING**** i have a extreme fear of it when i said yes id go i thought i would take every drug going and get drunk but obviously now that cant happen. Im already having panic attacks over it and its on my mind all the time and really stressing me out.
I am going to see the doctor next week to see what the chances of him refusing me a note are(fit to fly letter). Im so worried about upsetting my family and it causing problems but i really have to think about my baby 1st. Has anyone had any kind of experience like this.Be really nice to talk to some thanks

I don't have any experience but I would assume if it causes that much anxiety your doctor will write a note for you. I'm sorry you're going through this. Until you see the doctor try to distract yourself as much as possible maybe even trick yourself into thinking you can't go just so you don't deal with the stress of the idea of flying. Picture yourself calling and saying so sorry can't go and relaxing at home. Best of luck!!

I would put your health first hun. If you really don't think you could make it, could they set up a webcam link to you so you can 'be' there? Hopefully the doctor can suggest something x
