Hello ladies ..
I posted here about having a tough time with my partner and him not wanting the baby a few days ago.
I have since made my mind up and am going ahead with the pregnancy :) yaaaaay!
So I'm 8 weeks.
In work yesterday I picked up a heavy stone hawthorn man for a customer ...
Since then I've had aches and pains in my belly like I've been doing sit ups.
This morning I've woke up and I have a brown discharge :(
My sickness seems to have subsided and I know that's not right for me.
I have it's all day and all night, suddenly last night it just stopped.
Please help,I'm so worried and I really don't want to lose this baby :(
All I've done since finding out is cry and cry as the situation at home has been horrible.
Have I harmed the baby,is there something wrong and it's my fault?
I have an appointment at the doctors but not till 5pm.
Please help x

I wouldn't of said you'd have done your LO any harm by lifting what you did and brown discharge seems to be pretty normal as long as it's not bright red and heavy and the aches and pains are pretty normal too!

Have a breathe and a drink hun and try not to worry (I know, easier said than done!) and make sure to tell your doctor/midwife at your appt.

Sending you big hugs xxx

Try not to worry, it may just be coincidence. Good luck with your appointment.

I did so much stuff with the last pregnancy, lots of heavy lifting and honestly everything was fine. Obviously don't go out of your way to lift things and if you can avoid it do. With the discharge, this is normal for a lot of people but just try and take it easy if you can.

And you simply couldn't have harmed your baby by being upset, I went through the worst time of my life the first 3 months of my last pregnancy but my baby was fine and is the happiest little girl ever now.

Just try and take it easy, keep us updated, thinking of you xxxx

First of all I'm so glad you've made the right decision for YOU! <3

It sounds to me like you just strained your muscles. The bearing down you did to lift might have irritated your cervix which becomes engorged with blood while pregnant. Just try to take it easy, no heavy lifting until spotting subsides!!
