Please Help Meeee Please...My boobies...They are killing me when I nurse..Please help me with how to cope...Do I use a warm compress or cold compress?? Please I need tips from anyone...Thanks so much Im greatful...I really want to keep breastfeeding..please

What kind of pain is it? Like is it your nipple? Or a certain spot on your breast?

certain spot on breast...I took 2 ibuprofens they calmed it some and the neck pain is still there some,,,thanks for responding,,,

It may be a block? I would use a warm compress and try to either nurse alot or pump.

Yeah sounds like a clogged duct, what helps me is the ibuprofen but also taking a hot shower or bath and letting my breasts soak...ok I know that sounds weird lol, but really...and then massaging the spot, even though it hurts it really helps after. Also try and let him start on that side until it gets better, make sure he's emptying that side

Yeah, I have a recurring blocked duct on my left side. I find applying wet heat to the nipple before nursing helps loads with pain as well as unclogging the duct.

I get a blocked duct and mastitis quite a lot and what i find helps relieve it the most is to feed in a different position to what i usually feed in, for example i always feed in the cradle position so when i get mastitis/blocked duct i feed him in the rugby ball position, it seems to help to empty my breast which naturally helps to relieve it.
Also i put a hot flannel on my breast while i hand express as it is more gentle than pumping and the combination of the two always manages to relieve it within 48 hours.
Good luck hun i hope you manage to sort it out, keep us posted xx :hugs:

Good to hear its geting better hun xx
