PLEASE READ!!!! If you got a second opinion

ok i know this is kinda werid and maybe going backwards.. But me and DH have decided to go see my GP (family doctor) my gyno is the one that reffered me to my FS. But im not satisfied with my FS. She said IVF is our only option. My only fertility issue is that i have hypothyroidism. So i dont ovulate all the time. I was hoping maybe he could monitor my thyroid levels and maybe adjust my meds need be until it makes me ovulate.. And we were hoping he could offer metformin or other medicines to help me get pregnant. Has any of you done this and had good results or know someone who has? Please help
