It's transvaginal but it honestly doesn't matter because ALL u/s are opposite sides despite what people post in forums. Transverse just means side to side. Unless your tech flips it they are usually all this way. I had it's abdominal as well and baby still in same spot as TV. Hth

It's the chorionic villi placement (where the placenta will form) that you look for. Not the placement of the baby. I hope that made sense
