Please tell me there are other babies that dnt drink alot ?

MY LO only takes between 25-28oz a day. Her last 2 bottles tonight were a
4oz then a 3oz. My HV said to me that she may not have an interest in milk anymore and i should maybe think about weaning but i'm really not sure.

Yeh, my HV said that my LO will prob be alot better at eating than drinking and i could start her if i wanted, although im going to wait until shes just over 5 months.

Yeah I feel the same, trying to wait until 5 months. I have a weaning fayre to go to on Monday so I will see what they suggest but my Lo has just about no interest in milk and only seems to be interested in what I am eating.

Alyssa exactly the same, shes now watching the food from the plate and following it till its in my mouth, HV said to TRY and wait at least another week as purees can drag and theres only so much they can have up until 6 months.. will see how we go. Whats a weaning fayre ?

Lucas is like that, most hes ever had is 30 oz in a day, so far today he's only had 10 oz! I obsess over ounces too. He wees and poos all the time and is alert and has recently (if I am lucky) started drinking 5-6oz bottles after starting him on infant gavsicon, think he also had some silent reflux going on.

Thats good hes drinking more, could well be silent reflux, its more common than i thought as a lot of people on here who have their LO suffer from it. Im glad im not the only one obsessing over ounces, im forever re counting after each feed

Rebecca's exactly the same. She generally takes about 25oz per day but that is often in 3-4oz bursts! She's never taken more than 29oz in one day.

Her weight gain isn't brilliant but since 6 weeks she has followed the same line so I'm not too worried. Having said that, I do write down how much she has each feed and obsess over ounces so perhaps I'm more worried than I admit to myself

Yeh my HV told me to stop obessing over oz's as shes putting on weight and thriving. I think i have to accept that shes not a hungry baby and will leave some if shes full. I think i have the only baby who isnt on hungry baby milk lol. Its just annoying as every bottle i make is 6oz, and if she only has 3oz, its alot wasted, and 3oz isnt alot really x

Evie isnt on hungry baby milk either hun and she's a big girl (over 17lbs now)
She went thru exactly the same phase from around 3 months. It last till a couple of weeks ago when she suddenly started draining her 5oz bottles so I upped them to 6oz. Then last week she started draining those too so now she's on 5 7oz bottles per day, (35oz per day) but she doesnt always drink the whole bottle so usually has around 30-32 oz per day now.
Her appetite will increase hun If she's putting on weight well and thriving and the HV isnt concerned then Alyssa is taking all she needs
