Polish Eating Swans

Kind of like steak i guess? Hard to explain. I havent eaten venison but apparently tastes like that too. You cant overcook it though as it goes quite tough.

Alot of restuarants serve it with a red wine glaze and potato bake :D

There's a restaurant near me that sells kangaroo, shark, ostrich, zebra, wild boar, crocodile - and I have tried a few!!

I have no issues with eating whatever as long as it is killed humanely and not illegal.

On a side note we were off to nandos this weekend lol!

I've had kangaroo...must have been overcooked though by what you are saying coz it was like trying to eat a wellie  also had whale steak but wasnt a fan of that either :nope:

Back OT, a guy in our town has just been convicted of killing a swan. He wasnt killing it to eat though, just coz he had had a few too many to drink, saw the swans sleeping on the embankment, grabbed one and strangled it to death :cry: He then carried it away in a bin bag and dumped it further up the river...all of it was witnessed too as it was basically in the town centre!! He is not a very popular man at the moment, but he is also NOT Polish
I dont get how anyone can kill ANY animal inhumanely (sp), let alone animals that are protected by law (which as far as I know only extends to mute swans) :nope:

Polish people eating swans? Sounds like a Daily Mail headline to me?!

:dohh:

:nope: Thats disgusting and just to dump it afterwards. If someone can do that for absolutely no reason to an innocent animal, then i would be concerned what they were capable of if a human even got on their wrong side.

Thats made me feel sick. I absolutely detest animal cruelty. Its the lowest of the low imo :(
