Poo question (sorry)

On the advice of the MW i used carton formula for the first 4 weeks and yesterday i started on the "made up" formula (both Aptamil). He had his first poo this morning and it's changed consistency, almost like putty. The colour is the same, is this normal do you think?, i hope its not going to give him constipation!! I'll put him back on the cartons!

Sounds normal to me The ready made cartons have some added ingredients to preserve the milk, these can make some babies have looser poos. That's why some Mums swear by cartons to relieve constipation.

Just keep an eye on things. Most babies I've heard about seem fine on Aptimil, but it made my LO very constipated. We ended up moving to Cow and Gate and it was better for her. Each baby is different, so just find the best formula for you
