As MrsF says, hang in there. I'm pretty sure that if Care thought there was no hope they wouldn't continue. Upping your dosage might just do the trick.

Hun I think the fact they want to continue and have up'd your dosage is GREAT news. They have seen some growth so with the dosage increase and the fact that you ARE going to pump in those fluids (powerade, gatorade) and eat a high Protien diet and rest rest rest you can do this.
They can grow 2mm a day so thats great hun.

Hey Mrs R, just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you today and am praying those little follicles are growing into large ones

Bad news girls. They've cancelled my cycle

I had a scan yesterday and I was so excited as I had 11 follicles, ranging from 12 mm to 20mm. I though given a few more days I'd be ready for EC. The nurse I spoke to fro Care also thought the same thing.

However after speaking with my consultant, I was told that the cycle would have to be abandoned as there are only 2 follicles ready for EC and they wanted to do it this week

I was so happy yesterday after my scan, thinking things were looking up. I'm absolutely devastated that I've had to give up. DH is heart-broken.

I feel like such a failure. Even with all those drugs I'm still not normal.

I'll know I'll get over it but I just feel like crap

Hi hun so sorry thry cancelled your cycle I know exactly how you feel, when it happened to me I was totally prepared for having IVF and it not working but to not get to EC made me feel awful. Now I have had time to think about it I feel that it was prob a good thing as none of the eggs would have been good enough and it saved me a bit of heartache, it did take me a few weeks to feel like this though, the feeling of being cheated takes time to get over and make sure you take time out to get over this as it isn't something that you get over instantly xx
