Hi,

I was just wondering if any of you ladies can help me. I'm 5 weeks 2 days pregnant and since I found out I have been having mild-moderate Af type cramps on and off. Now they seem to have completely stopped. Do you think this is normal, did anybody experience this and then successfully go into their second tri? I have other symptoms of sickness and sore boobs but these are mild. Thank you

i had it on and off till 12wk with my son , with this preg ive had it on and off, but i had an op so dnt know if it was that just normal cramping x

I don't remember exactly when my actual cramping went away...I think it was around 10 wks. or so. But even now if I cough, sneeze, or get up to quickly sometimes I feel like I've pulled every muscle in my groin. Kinda annoying

I had it until around 16 weeks, but not everyday. It seems to come and go. My friend didn't even had cramps and she is now around 27 weeks.

I'm just over 15 weeks and still get niggles on and off, sometimes cramp like pains. Had midwife other day and she said to expect it. I've had it all through. Wouldn't worry x

I had it quite regularly until 14ish weeks. I don't think it's a measure of whether a pregnancy is going to continue at all so try not to worry (easier said that done i know!).

Thanks ladies. do your cramps feel like mild period pain or are they just twinges? I'm such a worry wort!!

Hi hun, I remember having cramps on and off up until about 7 weeks although can't remember exactly when they stopped.

Just wanted to say though, first tri can be a complete nightmare and try not to worry - everyone is different and will experience different symptoms at different times and in different ways.

I drove myself mad in the first tri because I was over-analysing every little symptom (or lack of!) and there was no need - everything was, and still is, completely fine which just makes me wish I'd chilled out a bit.

Try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy (congratulations by the way!) xx

So true and so kind of you to take the time to say, thankyou!

I have had mine on and off for 16 weeks so far. They were worse in the first trimester but still get them occasionally now. Mine do feel like crampy period pains. Try not to worry all these niggles are normal.

Mine were really strong period like cramps that would wake me during the night and everytime I was terrified I was miscarrying

Lol~ Cramping went around the time Gasiness started!

I am now nearly 22 weeks... and they are still here. Growing pains.

I'm nearly 15 weeks and still have the on and off.

It's also sometimes difficult to tell them from gas.

Don't worry, cramps, twinges, pinches, stitch pains, all normal, and may come from different parts of your body, too.

You can call your doctor if you see any spotting/bleeding or the cramps start coming in regular intervals, but even then, it may be nothing.

Oh.

AND STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE! :haha:
