Popping over from ttc, how long before ov did you dtd?

I just checked ff and we dtd the day before, day of and the day after. I've also read that it's best to do it before ovulation.

Hey, you are due the same day I am (based on ovulation date - obviously haven't been to doctor yet).

We DTD the 3 days before O, and O day.

We had sex in the middle of the night and I got ovulation pains later that day, about 12 hours later. I'd had EWCM the day before, too.

I think it's on my chart link but I believe it was the day before, the day on and the day after. I do remember getting ovulation pains thinking mmm we could make a baby this cycle lol.

I've been trying to take a more relaxed approach this cycle... Trying being the operative word! lol.

We dtd late Monday night and I had sharp ovulation pains early Wednesday morning so not quite 2 whole days! fx'd for us both x

I'm the same, we dtd Monday night and Tuesday night and had ovulation pains Wednesday and Thursday. Got cramping today but read that you can get pains in the sides when you ovulate and then cramping when the egg Is moving down the tubes. Or it may not be related Lol.

Thanks docmcstuffins let's hope so!! We're in no major rush to conceive as wel already have two beautiful children but something takes over me towards the end of the month getting excited that this might be the month lol x

It's so difficult. Me and hubby keep saying it will happen when it happens and won't actively try but as soon as I know I'm close to ovulation it kicks in lol x

It really is difficult as a woman to try to tune out of what your body is telling you. I couldn't help but notice my ovulation pains so how was I meant to ignore it and not try to dtd! Lol.

It's definitely much easier for a guy to ntnp because they aren't feeling the things we feel!

Yeah your right. I really thought last month was going to be our month as I got ovulation pains on our wedding day but I think for me dtd before ovulation might be better. I never really got too obsessed when we tried for dd as we just dtd every day for a week around ovulation time and got pregnant straight away on our first cycle, so we were really lucky. Dd is 19 months now so hubby wants another but doesn't want to try. Now that we're married just wants to take it as it comes but like you said it's not as easy for us when we have all the hormones and feelings that we do x

I'm the same... I got really cross Tuesday because hubby wouldn't give it up! so much for taking it easy this month... two dpo and I'm already feeling the need to poas. But I wont, not after last cycle I cannot go through that again!

I was the same with hubby on Wednesday. I got "can we give sex a miss tonight babes" but of course he doesn't understand why cause were not trying lol!

Next week can't come quick enough. My af is due on the 3rd! It's hubby's bday on the 28th id only be around 9dpo! When do you plan on testing. Xx
