Positive HPT's then negative digital, please help!!!

I took a HPT (first response) last night at 8 dpo. I knew it was way early but I had the urge to test do I did, totally believing it would be negative because it would be too early to tell. Well it was positive. It was faint but not like squinting your eyes faint, just light. I took another one about 5 hours later that night and it was also positive. Then I took one this morning (9dpo) and it was positive, then I took another about 4 hours later and again positive. So a total of 4 positive first response HPT'S. all faint but clearly there. Then I took a digital test and it said not pregnant!! I'm very scared that the first responses are false positives! The only fertility med I was on was Clomid which I don't believe causes false positives. Can anybody give me any advice!! I'm pretty worried. Thanks!!

Digital tests are about half as sensitive as FRERs. You need at least 50HCG to get a positive on a digital. Wait a couple days and try again. Congrats!

Digi arent as sensitive as normal hpt

Give it a few days then retest

Agree with above. No way on Earth you got 4 false positives. The digis need more hormones to get a positive, so it's just too early for one yet. Wait a couple of days for your hormones to multiply. Congrats!

Thank you sooooo soooo much ladies. After reading your responses I feel like I can breathe!!! I will do just what you all advised and test again in a few days!!!! And now I feel more hopeful than dreading. Thanks!!! Fingers crossed!!!!!
