Positive OPK! Finally!

Hello all-

I had my first positive OPK last night! I was so excited. Now what happens? We BD'd last night obviously but do we continue that for a few days or was yesterday my ovulation day so now I am in the the 2WW? Does a positive ovulation test mean that I ovulated yesterday or that I will within the next couple days?

yay for the positive OPK, for me it's a happy when it, goodness knows how I'll be when I get my bfp!

I've read that postive opks only confirm the LH surge. The only way to tell if you have defo O is by temping (which I haven't a clue how to do, you could do a search on here if you're keen to do it). I would keep BD'ing for the next 3 days just to be sure.

I count my the day after my positive as 1dpo but I dunno if that's correct.

Usually a +opk means you will o in 12-48 hours. Depending on the sensitivity of the test. When you test and how long you surge. So when you get a + start bd'ing but I'd suggest you do it for a few days in case you don't o or say two days.

When I got my BFP I BD'd for 3 nights after my positive OPK (as per sperm meets egg plan). You can O anywhere around 12-48 hours after the OPK, so best to do it at least 2 days in a row if not 3, to make sure there is a good supply of swimmers there if your egg takes a little longer to release.

24 hrs later I still have a surge. So it really depends on the woman. Either way lots of I tried the orgasming after OH and pre seed and of course tilting my hips this time.
