Positive opk yesterday....O today!

jenny- depending on the type of opk you use, there will either be two lines or a smiley face for the line test ones, it is not a positive result until the second line is as dark or darker than the control line!! a faint line is a negative when it comes to opks. i prefer the smiley face ones because they leave no questions!! an hpt, however is positive if there is any line at all, no matter how faint.

oh and jenny, once you get a positive opk, that means your lh is surging and you will ovulate in like the next 12-36 hours or so.

oo thanks, well if this isnt my month, which i dont think it is as i have no symptoms that are sticking around, ill buy some opk's, anybody recommend any available in uk x

they say that there is not a surge in the LH until later in the day.... also you are suppose to test after you have not peed for 4 hours minimum and limit fluid intake prior.

Blimey! I have endo and since my last op my bladder really hurts if I don't empty it regularly so there's no way I could wait for 4 hours!! Ho well! I'll change to the afternoon for testing next cycle but I shouldn't have thought it matters too much as long as you BD enough for there to be plenty of ready and waiting.

Depends on your budget really. You can get IC's from Ebay or Amazon and they really are dirt cheap and you get loads of them. Or you can buy CB (either the FM or just sticks) - they cost more but are considered easier to use and more accurate.

I got a positive OPK Friday and Saturday and yesterday, it was still there but not as dark so I'd say I may have O'd Sunday, I am testing June 20th, it is my birthday and Father's Day so I am crossing my fingers my DH's father's day card will have a positive pg test inside!!

afm, HORRIBLE cramps today. i am at work and can barely stand up. had positive opks today again but i would say i am ovulating because it hurts so bad!! also still have back pain, bloating, and loads of lotion cm. any symptoms anyone?
