positive result after the time,limit Please help

Hi , I've never posted in one of these before but I am scared and didn't know where else to turn .i have two kids at home a five year old little boy and a 21 month old little girl On August 4th I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks due to bleeding and retaining some " product of conception?") I ended up having a dnc on August 27th . Everything went well with the DNC I spotted for a couple days and then,nothing . I ha e had unprotected sex three times with my boyfriend . I started feeling,strange and having,pregnancy symptoms so I took a dollar store,test first thing in the morning just for,the heck of it it was negative as I expected because I thought even if I was pregnant it would be far to early for a positive result. I left the test on the counter took my son to the bus and came back 30 minutes latter to find there was a faint positive line in the test box I googled it and heard about evap lines . I did the same the next morning and again 30 minutes latter faint positive line . I read online that if it was an evap line it was due to the strip drying out and the urine evaporating, so if I dropped water onto it again to moisten it it would disappear if it was an evap . Because if it was true dye from hcg it would,not just wash away . Anyway I tried that and the line remained. Today still feeling off I thought I'd by another one and this time get a friend to has had a hysterectomy to take it thinking that if the same thing happened to her it must be an evap line . But nothing,like that happened we kept checking the test for 4 hours no changes it was clearly negative . I'm sorry for such a,long write up in just confused as to what is going on . Am,I pregnant ? Is it safe this soon after a dnc ? Will i have complications if I am indeed pregnant ?

Chances are you still have raised levels from your last pregnancy. I think I had positives for several weeks after my D&C. It is possible this is a new pregnancy, but it might just be left over hormones. If your line keeps getting darker you'll know for sure!

I had a mmc in June. D&C on June 30 at 10 weeks. Took a test 14 days after and it was still positive (digi read Pregnant 1-2 weeks). So I figured I would test again a week after. AF arrived before I tested (21 days after D&C). I know other ladies on here did get pregnant that quickly, so it can happen. I would test again in a few days (I know hard to wait that long!) but if it gets darker, then I would say you are pregnant. If its leftover HCG, then it will get lighter then no line will show.

As for complications, I don't know from personal experience, but many on here have went on to have completely healthy babies after an mc, even this soon after.
