positive stories please!

i havent been here for a while but i am looking for some positive c section stories.

i have recently found out why i had my past 2 c sections and are as follows.

my first was 1999 and i got to full dilation and pushing but my daughter was really high up and after her having heart decelerrations and 40 hrs of labour it was decided that i would have an emcs.

in 2002 i had my son after a failed vbac of me reaching 7 cm he was also very high up and therefore the hospital decided to give me a second emcs. 9 days after my son was born i had to return to theater as my section had opened due to a blood clot

now 11 years on i am 32+4 with another little boy after years of never wanting anymore due to my previous experience as i have been soo scared.
i have now found out the hospital would prefere me to have a repeat section which after weighing everything up i am kinda happy with and have been booked in for the 28th oct.

i suppose what i am asking is i want some positive stories and feedback as i was asleep with that last 2 and have had horrific recoverys.

I've only had the one c section with dd, but am planning to have repeat with this one. Mine with dd was unexpected. I was in labor for about 12 hours, on pitocin for about 8 of that as I just wasn't dilating. Baby started to have late heart decels and we agreed c section was safest for baby at that point. I already had epidural and so they just ramped it up to make sure I could feel nothing. My dh was in the OR with me the entire time, my Dr talked to me throughout to let me know what was going on, and everything went beautifully. I did feel a lot of pressure higher up in my torso/chest when they were tugging baby out, but nothing unbearable. It was definitely scary but all in all a positive experience.
