possible prob with babys heart?

I'm posting here in the hope somebody may know or have experience this.

I'm 20 weeks and my scan is tomorrow. On my doppler I've noticed the baby's hb speeds up and slows down like normal but sometimes skips a couple of beats and drops to my heart rate before gradually speeding up. Today though it was longer, I heard it drop for about 5 beats, as if it couldn't get back up, then it sped up again. I'm so scared for tomorrow. Is this a sign of a problem? The baby is moving a lot and kicking though I can't feel all the time as I have an anterior placenta. I am really scared it's heart is going to stop as I know it shouldn't drop to my rate despite not being often and only for a couple of beats.

Any advice appreciated

i have no experience with this hun but didnt want to read and run, pls do tell them at ur scan of this worry and whats been going on with ur doppler then they will look in more detail at the heart, i do hope everything is ok and pls o let us know how it goes, lots of for u and baby xxxx

They well completely be able to tell if there are any major problems.

I have photos from my 18 week scan showing blood pumping through his heart, to his major organs and everything. They'll spot it so don't worry!

He could just be freaked out by getting dopplered. I hope everything is okay!

I hope that this doesnt come out the wrong way but unless you are medically trained this is EXACTLY why we shouldnt have dopplers at home.

We just drive ourselves nuts and it can also work the other way (a HB putting our mind at rest when we should get checked out).

I havent used mine for ages for the exact reasons stated above.

I hope all goes well at your scan tomorrow and please, rest assured they will do a very detailed check.
