My apologies if this has been asked before..

Is it possible to ovulate after your loss? Even before your proper period arrives?

Hi I'm wondering the same thing. I know ovulation comes before a period, I'm just wondering how soon after mc people have ovulated. I think I 'might' have last weekend, 2 weeks after I officially lost my baby but 1 weeks after bleeding stopped...

Sorry for your loss:hugs:

Yes, it is possible to ovulate before your next AF. After my miscarriages, I was charting, and both times there's been a thermal shift 14-15 days after my MC, and got AF 14 days after. That's why many women get pregnant before getting AF after a MC.

Thank you for your responses ladies. That's very interesting that you can ovulate right afterwards, I was never aware of that. :hugs:

I'm not sure exactly what date I ovulated, but I became pregnant again without an AF in between- I stopped bleeding May 31st and had a BFP June 19th. So yes, it is possible :)

That's amazing Koukla :) I've heard women say that they're afraid to try right away so soon after their m/c because they want their uterine lining to become stronger to support a baby etc.. but from what I can see, such an early BFP can still bring about a healthy bundle of joy :happydance: good for you sweetie

I had a miscarriage which started on December 2nd and ovulated again on the 22nd and got pregnant again, fingers crossed this one is for keeps. So it does happen!

It happened for me too, got pregnant again about 2 weeks after the bleeding stopped, no AF.
If you feel ready to try again then go for it, there's no medical reason why you should wait.
Good luck xxx
