Possibly stupid question but I need help pls

Hi,

I had full on ov pain yesterday. I was at my mother in laws all day and so couldn't opk. (I'd forgotten to in the morning) I did late last night and got a blaring positive.
This morning and it's gone.
Hubby and I didn't bd last night but did the night before and before that.
If the opk is neg today is it pointless bding tonight as will I have already ovulated?

You usually ovulate 12-48 hours after a positive OPK, so get BDing!!

Thank you! Do you know for the last 2 days SINCE the opk turned neg I've had ewcm! Don't understand why the test turned neg and then I got the ewcm...weird! Thank you for your help
