Post C Section: swollen feet?

Hey ladies, our beautiful baby Everett was born via emergency C Section on Friday at 1555! While I was still in the hospital over the weekend I had a tiny bit of swelling in my feet that disappeared before we discharged home on Sunday. Have to say I'm having the most amazing recovery considering the stories everyones told me of their surgery and recovery. My only concern is that on Tuesday my feet suddenly swelled up to painful proportions and my toes tingle. Was this normal for any of you? I have a call in to my OB's nurse but while I'm waiting I'm curious.

My feet were pretty swollen for a few weeks afterwards think its pretty normal not sure about the tingling though

I think they tingle because of the blood flow being restricted lol it's just oddly uncomfortable

My feet and legs were massive when I came out of hospital. Perhaps the tingling is the skin feeling tight? Not very nice but moving about seemed to help. I spent 5 days in hospital not moving enough which made it worse.

Yes my feet ballooned up, they were bloody huge!! They took about a week to go down again. Try putting them in water and I got told to keep them elevated, but don't worry it's normal!

The day I was set to leave the hospital, my feet and ankles got swollen! I addressed my concerns to the nurses, and was told it was normal, and it too about a week before my ankles and feet were back to normal.

Yes, my feet became almost comically swollen! The more water I drank and the more moving I did the better. When I was seated, I tried to keep them as elevated as possible.

My feet and ankles were swollen for about a week and were quite painful! x
