This is such a bad time for me... I am desperately TTC but we can't afford to have a baby if I'm going to be made redundant

Youre obviously a strong girl so you keep your chin up. Nevermind not being able to afford a baby. You will find a way - dont give up. You guys can overcome all the hurdles that are thrown at you - you have come through so much with little Sophie...

You did not fail her at all! Sometimes, nature is very very cruel. And it seems everything is happening at once with your possible job loss. However, if you do lose it there may be a better paying job out there for you. This happened to my friend and she is now in a whole new career because of it. As for affording a baby, is there ever a right time to afford one? If you have another baby, you will find a way to pay for everything.

Even though it's been said alot, you DIDN'T fail her. I'm so sorry about your work as well, it makes a stressful time that much more hard to deal with. Lots and lots of being sent your way!

So sorry to hear this hun, only just read the story and my heart goes out to you. With regard to the job, thats a really tough blow but try and see a positive in this - a new job may be what you need to help you heal... most companies are underhand in this way. In my last job I asked my boss to his face if the company were closing one of the stores and being a reasonably small company with close network of staff and a good relationship I had with him, I believed him when he said that they werent - low and behold the end of that same month they closed the store!! I was very disappointed in them then as a company for having lied to my face and havent looked back since I left... a new job was exactly what I needed and after TTC for 2 years, got pg after 3 months once I changed my job..... Hope things work out as you want them to with work babe but try not to stress about something you have no control over x
