Post partum bleeding

24 days after baby born. And having random ridiculous gushes of blood. Today I had a thinner pad on ,a poise one to be exact. And arrived at a party and got out of car to just gush , gush, gush. I thought for sure it was about to run out. Soaked it through. Yuck.

At 24 days. Why does happen. Freaks me out. Wondering if 24 days out. I did have a beer and excedrh

I would call your Ob just to be safe. There could possibly be retained placenta. However you can bleed possibly for 6 weeks after the birth and everyone's bleeding differs.

Bleeding can happen for up to 6 weeks after birth. After I had my first I bled on/off for 10 weeks but my first heavy bleed lasted 4 weeks.

I bled pretty heavily for 4 weeks, then needed a light pad for an additional 2 weeks.

If you are getting cramps or anything call the OB for sure.
