Did you go into labor naturally with your cervix facing your rectum? I knew something was wrong since the last week every time I sat up I had to go number 2. He said I'm maybe a one cm dilated

I think your cervix is like that before you go into Labour and when you're in labour it changes. I'm not sure on that though. I was induced last time and when I first went in and they examined me they said my cervix was posterior and closed which is why I wasn't very favourable for induction.

Usually in first pregnancies it move forward a week or so before labor, sometimes a few days before. For subsequent pregnancies it usually doesn't happen until labor begins
