Hi ladies,
So I gave birth to my adorable little son a week ago today, and suffered from a retained placenta and PPH. I didn't have to have a transfusion but my hemoglobin was a 79 so it was close! I was in the hospital for 4 days as on top of this I had also suffered from a spinal headache due to the spinal I received to remove the placenta.
I've been bed ridden until yesterday and my lochia is now yellow/white. However I have a lot of stairs in my house so I have been going up and down the stairs, and doing light duties today. I've notoced red blood again
it's scared me so much I am now back in Bed resting. I am terrified of hemhorraging again- I do not want to experience that ever again!!!!
How long should I avoid the stairs/take it easy?? I have so much to do and can't seem to get my body to cooperate and heal
For those ladies who have had a PPH, how long did it take for you to heal? And to regain confidence in your body again?
