Potty Training

DS (2.9 months) has decided today that he wants to start using the potty, he has done 2 wee's and a poo on the potty and i'd like to continue with it.. however tomorrow we are due to see father Christmas and I have no idea what to do when I'm out and about, shall I put a nappy on? Take the potty with me? I don't think he'll be comfortable going on a public toilet as I don't have a seat for him

You could always hold him over the toilet.

Too late for this now but for the future - while our girl was just starting out, we'd take her out in a nappy, then we started taking the potty with us and she used it in the car (we have a Ford Galaxy though, so lots of space for that). Now she happily uses the toilet as long as you hold her so she doesn't fall down the hole!
