The weather forecast for my area is predicting strong storms and tornados over the next 2 days. We usually get power outages when this happens. I have about 40 bags of breastmilk stored in my freezer and would be devastated if I lost it. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to save it if the power goes out for an extended period of time?

Maybe ask a neighbour to store it in their freezer? Or a friend if a village thing? Hope you dont end up wasting!! Xx

I've had this happen twice before, I always make sure not to open the freezer and keep it full, even with something like jugs of water to help keep it frozen. One time we lost the power for two and a half days and another time for two twelve hour periods in a row, this worked both times but it was also wintertime which might of helped as well.
