Hello everyone. My water broke spontaneously at 14+1. We were advised to terminate immediately but decided to leave it God's hands because our baby still had a great heartbeat and no sign of other complications. I'm now 15+4 and just now reaching out for info and support. I had never heard of this before and I'm honestly very scared and a little lost. I also started a blog just basically looking for other women who have or are going through this this which is just Fulloffaith2013 at blogspot( it wouldn't let me post the link because this is my first post). Anyone with advice or success stories please share them with me. Thanks so much everyone!

Hi there hun. Sorry to hear about your pprom. I had this happen at 18 weeks with my last pregnancy and although I do not have a success story to share with you, there is a website that I found that was amazing! It is https://www.kanalen.org/prom/stories.php
I will send lots of positive thoughts your way.

I tried to find your blog, but have no idea where to find it?

I had pprom with my first pregnancy, I was 29 weeks and went into labor several times. I was hospitalized, received steroid injections and pills every few hours to stop contractions. I did have an successful story, made it to 41+ weeks and ended up with an induction. I also had it with my second pregnancy, but that is a much longer story and had to do with my high risk pregnancy.

I'm currently almost 15 weeks and have a slightly different story, my cervix is opened and getting soft (also very low). I was a mess when I first learned but decided to leave it to god. Each day is a blessing and I'm positive right now.

I would love to share our journey :hugs:

Hello Hunneytot. Thanks so Much for responding and also for the positive thoughts. I'm so sorry about your previous loss. I'm not sure why it wouldn't let me post my blog. Its fulloffaith2013.blogspot.com. I hope that link works. I've never done a blog before either. I also found that website you mentioned on Google but it won't load the site for some reason. I'm using a kindle fire and my cellphone. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Hi Radiance! Thanks so much for writing me. Its great to hear a success story. I'm not sure when lung development starts and it worries me that this may be happening right at the critical moment.I just feel like I don't have any information. I would love to share our journey as well!

The lungs begin to form at 8 weeks :) Are you seeing a specialist or getting more care now? It's hard getting information on things like this so early on, I was searching about the cervix being opened and found nothing that helped. I called the high risk specialist today and explained that my cervix is low and opened now so hopefully I can get an appointment sooner than September.
