Hi everyone,
So yesterday I posted asking if anyone had experiance with the Babystyle Oyster as I have read mixed reviews. It seems everyone on bnb have nothing but good things to say about it. However from what people have said you do have to buy the carrycot which of course adds to the expence :dohh:

So now I would like to know who has had or has the Graco Evo and how you have found it?
I like the fact that it is a one hand fold which is very practical as I live in a maisonette and will most likely fold it up downstairs by the door when I come in.
Can you buy different colour packs the same as the Oyster or do you just buy the colour you want? How have people found it handles on public transport as well as with the car??? (Hubby drives but I do not)
Are they any pro's or cons? I believe this does go into lie flat mode so you do not need the carrycot??

Also which car seat's have people bought to make this one into the travel system??

Thanks again everyone. We are buying the pram this weekend hence why I'm trying to be 100% sure. Especially as my midwife is convinced baby will arrive in next week

I think you just buy the colour you want. I like the new Graco ranges, we had the Graco symbio b for our son. Loved it but moved onto a chicco liteway a few months back as he'd grown out of it and a pram like that isn't really practical with a toddler. Decent prices too. These are much better than the old style Graco's which are heavy and harder to maneuver about.

ETA: I think it's the logica Graco carseat that fits on the Evo, not entirely sure but I think you can buy it with the carseat.

I have the graco evo- i really love it- it doesn't fold up major small but apart from that its amazing- easy to steer one handed, lightweight, compact etc etc. I think if i got it from newborn i would have got the carrycot though- even though the evo lies flat i feel that the carrycot looks so much more snug x

I bought the full graco evo travel system last June.

Pros:
Folds up really easily and small.
You can buy the different parts in different colours. We got the carry cot and pushchair in lime green and the car seat in beige.
It's light weight.
Carry cot and pushchair face either way.

Cons:
Plastic wheels, is quite a bumpy ride!
You can't fit much in the basket under the pram if the pushchair is on it as the gap is too small (this might apply to other prams anyway).
There is slight movement when the car seat is fixed onto the base (is totally safe though, just something to be aware of).
I found the carry cot a waste of money'. Used it a couple of times but lo preferred the pushchair flat which can be used for newborn. It was a hot hot summer though, it might be more suitable for winter?
The car seat adapter comes with the car seat (evo car seat). I bought a different graco car seat from kiddicare which came with no adapter so had to search high and low for somewhere that sold an adapter to fit.
The seatbelt in our car (ford focus) would not fit around the car seat so we had to buy the car seat base (well worth having as it's so much easier).

Overall I like it but next time I think I would spend a little bit more money, mainly for better suspension/wheels as I've used the pram a lot. I haven't been able to use it in the places where I walk the dog though as it's far too bumpy for lo. If you are getting the full travel system it's also worth waiting for the offers to be on. Mothercare do them quite often.
Hope that helps 😊

I've got the Evo and I absolutely love it! its the 4th pram I have tried with my little girl due to all 3 Mothercare prams I bought having problems, neither me or my OH drive and this pram is really good for buses and trains, we decided to sell the carry cot as there really is no need for it as Alice prefers to be sat upright so she can have a nosey! also this pram is great for nipping around shops...I couldn't be happier with the Evo, got the grape colour pack too which is lovely, as for the car seat I got one with the bundle I bought and the pram has an attachment so it is very easy to put on/take off!
