I know this is off topic, but really need prayers for my dog. He's a mini-dashchund (wiener dog). His name is Levi, and we've had him since he was 8 weeks old, and he's now 7yrs.
Yesterday morning I went to get him from his crate(crate trained at night), and he had explosive diarrhea, teeth chattering, I let him out and he could barely walk. He was actin like he was blind, and semi conscious, not really aware of anything. Laboured breathing. Rushed him to the vet, and she said he is having seizures. Very very sick puppy. I will know the test results this morning from the pathology report, but the vets main concern is that one pupil is dilated, the other is a tiny pin point in size. Which indicates an issue with his brain (tumour cancer). We are devastated, and my kids are as well(a young as they are they sense it). Unfortunately if it's cancer and he's in pain we will have to make the tough decision of putting him down. Ideally speaking I would love to bring him home to be comfortable, and spend his last days with us. But it would e cruel to do such a thing if he's in a ton of pain. I will know later this morning. Another possibility is epilepsy. So we will see. So please if you think of it please pray. We need a miracle. It is touch and go with him right now.
