Hello all! I am currently 33w4d pregnant with my 4th child. My first was born 2 weeks after dd, my second 1 week after dd and my third induced 3 days before my dd. With this one I have been having preterm labor symptoms for 2 months already! They have gotten particularly bad in the past week. STRONG braxton hicks, I am 2 cm dilated AND at my last dr apt I origionally tested positive for leaking ambilical fluid. After 3 additional tests and a sonogram they decided that I wasn't leaking and sent me home. I know that the chances of having a preemie after 3 full-term births are low, but does anyone have any experience with this? I feel like I am going CRAZY! :dohh:

My mums third baby was a premmie but she had a false labour with me her first. Both times she did have pet though

sometimes you can tell and sometimes its out of the blue..

i would take it easy and drink lots of water.. get help if you can...

btw you have a double post in the forum?? lol

btw i have three preterms and one full term...

I have no answer for u, but if you feel any doubts, get monitored regularly. Good luck!!

I can't answer directly, but my first was FT and my second I had preterm labor twice at around 33w. The first time I got a shot to stop the contractions the second time my BP was too high so I was put on oral medication until 36weeks to help relax my uterus and prevent contractions. I ended up having an ELCS due to breech presentation at 39w 1d. So it is possible that you will make it to FT even though you had preterm labor :)

i agree that it is possible to make it to full term, though hard

but you will have to take things very very easy....like total bedrest and also more then doube up on fluids and stay away from stress...let someone else handle it for now..
and if you can get someone to take care of things for you it would be your best bet.....if not due as close to this as possible...
i know its hard but so worth it...

good luck your baby and you will be in my prayers:hugs:
